I’ve had the shower fitted for a month now and the dial to turn it off is so stiff I have to ask my partner to turn it off. Every time the kids have a shower we have to get their dad to turn it off or leave it running. Thought this would loosen over time but it hasn’t. It seems to happen once hot. Very frustrating. Not had this before.

Replaced another mixer shower with this one. I was careful to buy a replacement with the same fittings, so was very easy to fit. Unit was packed well, most of the components are fairly heavy chromed metal. Apart from the hand held shower head and the holder for that, which are plastic. One review said they returned this as it wasn't adjustable, it is, but I can see that the pictures might be misleading. You can adjust the height of the large square rainfall head as the pipe that it fixes to trombones in and out via a nob on the bracket. Though in the photos it shows it in 2 positions, you cannot adjust the height of the wall bracket itself. Overall for £75 this is good value. I'm no plumber and I was a little worried about messing this up, but finished in a couple of hours without any real disasters.
